Games To Watch: College Edition

Three weeks are already in the books, and another is just starting to shape-up, with the marquee game being No.23 Clemson traveling to Tallahassee to battle the No.1 ranked Florida State Seminoles. This game is being billed as one of the biggest this season, and that got me thinking, what other big games to we have to look forward to? Well, buckle your seat belts as we take a look at the 8 most interesting games slated for later this season.

1.) Week 7: (#2) Oregon at (#12) UCLA

Heisman hopefuls Marcus Mariotta and Brett Hundley duke it out as the Ducks travel to the Rose Bowl in LA to take on the Bruins. Mariotta will likely have his hands full, as he takes on a defense that scored 3 TDs in Week 1 against Virginia. Meanwhile, Hundley will look to boost the Bruins into championship contention with a strong performance against one of the toughest defenses in the country.

2.) Week 8: (#6) Texas A&M at (#3) Alabama

The Aggies minus Johnny Football have looked impressive so far, thrashing #9 South Carolina 52-28 in Week 1. But, Kenny Hill is in for a MUCH more difficult test, as the Aggies travel to Tuscaloosa with the hopes of spoiling the Tide’s title hopes. On the other hand, the Tide see this as a possible statement game, after a less-than impressive 33-23 win over West Virginia in Week 1. No matter where the rankings stand come this game, it promises to be entertaining, at the very least. (more…)
