Well, if Riley Cooper didn’t get enough attention from the video displaying bad behavior earlier this year, he is in the headlines again. This time Riley and Cornerback Cary Williams had a tiff.
Williams was covering Cooper while doing a non-contact drill when they got a hold of each other and started to joust back and forth. No one knows for sure what caused the scuffle or what was said. After being separated by cornerback Brandon Boykin, Cooper proceeded to walk off the field. Williams wasn’t done yet and threw his helmet to the ground and went to pursue him. Michael Vick then stepped in and grabbed Williams and calmed him down.
Lets hope the extra energy displayed in practice today is carried onto the field on Monday night against the Redskins for a more positive performance than witnessed today.
