Olympic Closing Ceremonies

Last night the Olympic closing ceremonies took place ending the 2012 Summer Olympics with a gala of British icons and Musical legends. The ceremonies were a sight to behold and was based on a theme of inclusion which aimed to get everyone involved and it certainly did. The musical talent that graced the stage included: George Michael, Annie Lennox, The Pet Shop Boys, Ray Davies, Queen, The Kaiser Chiefs, Fatboy Slim, Muse, One Direction, Guy Garvey, Liam Gallagher, Madness, and several others.
Spice Girls Reunion
In my opinion some of the biggest highlights to the evening were the reunion of the Spice Girls and the tribute to both John Lennon and George Harrison of The Beatles. The song played for John Lennon was “Imagine” and the one played for George Harrison was “Here Comes the Sun”.
