Philly Court Corruption… Christopher Angelo Shenanigans Part 2

November 26th, 2020 by Leo | No Comments | Filed in General, Interviews, Matrix, PhillyWood, Serpico, TSP Top Gun

TalkSportsPhilly and Christopher Leomporra have been doing a long running story on Discrimination of TSP in Philly Sports and in the process was dragged into court corruption all over the Jersey and Philly areas.  Frankly, I was shocked when I saw how the court and justice system works in America, especially in this area.

As we have seen in the last year and longer, there has been a great call from the American people and people around the world on the Injustices and the largest mass incarceration of human beings currently in the world and in the history of the world.  Pretty amazing since we are supposed to be a beacon of Freedom and market ourselves as the best and most humane in the world.  That couldn’t be further from the truth.

The PhillyWood Story/Movie is a very involved story and has been in the works since 2015 but the true start to the story starts back in March of 2012.  Please reference the links below for the 3 part story on a National Stalking case of Kourtney Reppert that myself and TSP helped out during the ordeal.

Eagles vs Giants…Titans of the East Battle in Jersey

November 15th, 2020 by Leo | No Comments | Filed in Eagles, Football, General, NFL, TSP Radio

Well, here we are as Eagles fans coming off a much needed bye week and the Eagles still sit atop of the NFC East with a whopping 3-4-1 record.  The Giants come into the game with an even worse record at 2-7.  This doesn’t mean the Eagles are going to skate in with an easy victory at the Meadowlands.

Once again, the Eagles keys to winning the game are the Lines, both in protecting Wentz from sacks and putting pressure and getting sacks on their young QB Daniel Jones.  Carson Wentz will once again have to avoid giving up interceptions and holding on to the ball too long, and of course accuracy.  If the Eagles can establish a running game early, it will open up the passing game and Carson will hit his targets today if the Line can give good protection.

The Eagles will have right tackle Lane Johnson, running back Miles Sanders, tight end Dallas Goedert and wide receivers Alshon Jeffrey and Jalen Reagor playing this time around, which should make a big difference in the Eagles offensive scheme for the game.

Below is the Injury report for the Eagles this week:

Cowboys and Eagles Battle for 1st in NFC East

November 1st, 2020 by Leo | No Comments | Filed in Eagles, Football, General, NFL, TSP Radio

Needless to say to those in the know, thank God the Eagles are in the NFC East.  For most teams the season would be pretty much over and sights set on a rebuilding year and spoiler roles.  Fortunately, the Eagles have a helping hand from above currently with being in 1st place in the NFC East with a poultry 2-4-1 record.

The Cowboys come in with even a less impressive record of 2-5 and believe it or not, whoever wins this Sunday Night Football game will be in 1st place.  Many predict a 6-8 win season will be good enough to be the NFC Champs.  Below is the injury report for the Cowboys vs Eagles game.

Eagles vs Redskins Spoiler Game Hurdle #3

Well, once again the Eagles still hold their fate in their hands.  Somehow they managed to make it by spoiler game hurdle #2 and face the Redskins this week in spoiler game hurdle #3.  This time the lowly Redskins (3-10) get a chance to spoil the Eagles run for the playoffs and as I always note, anything can happen in inter-division games, no guarantees.

This is the time that Carson Wentz needs to show his franchise QB status, this is where the great ones step up and lead their team to the playoffs even with any shortcomings of the team.  As I said all the way thru the Eagles SuperBowl Run in 2018, if the players and lines hold their own, that’s it, they should win this game no problem.  Unfortunately, the Eagles have had a problem doing that this year.

The way I see it, if the Eagles D-line gets to Haskins and several sacks, get Ertz to have a productive day, and establish a running game combined with Wentz’s leadership, the prediction I will make is the Eagles will win 34-24.

Giants vs Eagles, Spoiler Game Hurdle #2

December 9th, 2019 by Leo | No Comments | Filed in Eagles, Football, General, NFL, Sports

At the beginning of the season everyone picked the Eagles to have a winning season of at least 10-6 and above.  Needless to say those aspirations didn’t come true and as of last week the Eagles needed to win out to take the division because there is no way else to get to the playoffs.  Luckily, even after a ugly loss to the Dolphins the Eagles (5-7) still hold their fate in their own hands thanks to Dallas (6-7) having a loss themselves.  So, somehow we survived spoiler hurdle #1.

Now the Giants are in position to play spoiler this week, even going as far as bringing in Eli Manning to try and bring a win.  A risky venture for Eli because if he loses this game then he will have a losing QB record for his career, currently standing at an even win-loss record of 116-116.

Eli Manning Career Stats

Even though the Eagles should win this game no problem, this year you can’t count on anything and with the rest of the games being inter-division, anything could happen.  Lets keep our fingers crossed and see if the Eagles can clear hurdle #2. Here is a listing of the Injury report for tonight’s game.  Fly Eagles Fly!

Phillies sign Bryce, That’s Nice

March 1st, 2019 by Leo | Comments Off on Phillies sign Bryce, That’s Nice | Filed in Baseball, General, MLB, Phillies

After months and months of talk here in the Philly area about signing Bryce Harper, finally the Phillies and Bryce signed a contract! The contract is for 13 years and $330 million dollars and Harper, 26, will be 39 when this contract runs out.  But the $25 million AAV of the deal means Harper could possibly be traded at some point in his career. After the announcement of the signing the Phillies sold over 100,000 tickets already for the upcoming season.

Harper has dominated the NL East throughout his career. He’s hit 96 home runs in his career vs. NL East opponents, with an OPS of .909.  In Harper’s 50 career games at Citizen’s Bank Park, he has a .930 OPS with 14 home runs.  With the most home runs being hit in Citizen’s Bank Park, that should mean the Phillies and the fans will have a lot to cheer about in the upcoming years. One thing that seems odd is a no opt-out in the contract, the Boras deal doesn’t have any opt-outs for the player or the Phillies.  Considering Boras typically adds that into the deals, you begin to wonder what actually happened behind closed doors while negotiating the contract.

Why did it take so long? Not really sure other than he was holding out for a better deal even though a lot of people felt deals of this magnitude as “stupid money”.  There are some concerns with Harper’s career so far, he has missed time with injuries, he’s amounted to fewer than 2.0 bWAR in three of his seven big-league seasons. Harper has had inconsistent defense and he struck out a career-high 169 times in 2018.

It should be interesting to see how Harper is received in Washington this year and what other moves the Phillies will make in their bid to win the NL East.  If you would like to check out Harper’s stats you can see them on the Baseball Reference site.  By signing the biggest contract ever you know he made some kind of history, Harper surpasses Giancarlo Stanton for total contract value.  Stanton signed a $325 million extension with the Miami Marlins but Harper will probably hold this title for quite some time.

Some other notable links to brush up on your Harper stats and information, here is a list:
