Eagles Schedule 2021 plus Prediction

September 17th, 2021 by Leo | Comments Off on Eagles Schedule 2021 plus Prediction | Filed in Eagles, Football, General, NFL, Sports, TSP Radio

Well, Football season is underway for 2021 and the Eagles stand a chance to win the division in the weak NFC East Division.  Jalen Hurts and the Offense looked good in the week one win over the Falcons for a 1-0 start.  The right start for the New Head Coach and hopes of continued success.  TalkSportsPhilly and particularly myself hold the season prediction as 9-7 with strong chance at Division Title.  Maybe a bit optimistic but the Eagles seem to have a little more in them than first thought, Lets See!!

Below is the Eagles Schedule for the 2021 Season:

All I can say is Pray… Because unless all the stars align and Philly has a heart of a Lion til the last second of the game then they will not walk away with a victory in hand.  Leo predicts 31-24 Green Bay Win, lets hope I am wrong.  Fairytail prediction 28-24 Eagles victory!  As I said, lets Pray…

Eagles vs Giants…Titans of the East Battle in Jersey

November 15th, 2020 by Leo | Comments Off on Eagles vs Giants…Titans of the East Battle in Jersey | Filed in Eagles, Football, General, NFL, TSP Radio

Well, here we are as Eagles fans coming off a much needed bye week and the Eagles still sit atop of the NFC East with a whopping 3-4-1 record.  The Giants come into the game with an even worse record at 2-7.  This doesn’t mean the Eagles are going to skate in with an easy victory at the Meadowlands.

Once again, the Eagles keys to winning the game are the Lines, both in protecting Wentz from sacks and putting pressure and getting sacks on their young QB Daniel Jones.  Carson Wentz will once again have to avoid giving up interceptions and holding on to the ball too long, and of course accuracy.  If the Eagles can establish a running game early, it will open up the passing game and Carson will hit his targets today if the Line can give good protection.

The Eagles will have right tackle Lane Johnson, running back Miles Sanders, tight end Dallas Goedert and wide receivers Alshon Jeffrey and Jalen Reagor playing this time around, which should make a big difference in the Eagles offensive scheme for the game.

Below is the Injury report for the Eagles this week:

Four weeks into the season, and here we sit…1-3. 2 out of these three losses came by a combined six points. Two field goals, and an extra point go our way, we’re sitting here 3-1. But, there’s no time for us to sit around saying “what if”, because the New Orleans Saints are rolling into town. Fresh off of a victory against the Dallas Cowboys, Drew Brees leads the 1-3 Saints into Lincoln Financial Field on Sunday afternoon, in what is a must-win game for both teams.

Dating back to 2009, the Birds have dropped three straight against New Orleans, including the 2013-14 Wild Card game. Be that as it may, things are different now. The Saints are down a number of playmakers, ranging from Jimmy Graham to Darren Sproles, the latter of which will play opposite his former team on Sunday. While there will be storylines galore for this game, there are no bigger storylines that those on the injury report. Who’s in, who’s out? That could be the difference of the game…..

Injury Report:

Philadelphia Eagles-

Kiko Alonso (Knee)- OUT
Brandon Bair (Groin)- OUT
Mychal Kendricks (Hamstring)- OUT
Jason Peters (Quad)- Questionable
Byron Maxwell (Quad)- Probable
Chris Marargos (Quad)- Probable
Cedric Thornton (Hand)- Probable
Allen Barbre (Groin)- Probable
Taylor Hart (Shoulder)- Probable
Lane Johnson (Knee)- Probable

Official: Eagles 2015-16 NFL Schedule

April 22nd, 2015 by Sam Shipley | Comments Off on Official: Eagles 2015-16 NFL Schedule | Filed in Eagles, Football, NFL

There is no denying that this offseason by the Eagles has been an offseason for the ages. It all started way back in December with a feud in the Eagles front office that looked like it would have to be settled in a triple-threat cage match between Chip Kelly, Howie Roseman, and Tom Gamble with Jeffery Lurie as special guest referee. That feud ended on January 3rd with Jeffery Lurie raising Chip Kelly’s hand in the center of the ring and handing him the keys to the Eagles front office by giving him full control of player personnel.

After that happened the transactions began to come at us in a hurry.

I would love to get into every transaction, but by now we all know the results. Nick Foles, LeSean McCoy, Todd Herremans, Trent Cole, Jeremy Maclin, Bradley Fletcher, and Cary Williams, who were all starters last season, are now gone.

Meanwhile, Kiko Alonso, DeMarco Murray, Ryan Mathews, Byron Maxwell, Walter Thurmond III, Sam Bradford, Miles Austin, and yes Tim Tebow are some of the notable names who have been brought in to replace the players above.

The offsesaon still has one more big event before we can all but wrap up most big-time transactions, and that is the NFL Draft which takes place next Thursday-Saturday. Obviously the draft could be a humongous deal for the Eagles because of a certain quarterback who the team has been rumored to acquire in every way possible. Regardless it is a big deal because of the holes that need to be filled on the team, and this is another deep draft class where the Eagles can get some really talented young players.
