As the head coaching search continues for the Philadelphia Eagles, the reports and rumors continue to fly. The latest report could bring happiness to some Eagles fans.
According to Bleacher Report’s Jason Cole, the Eagles are one of four teams that have interest in trading for New Orleans Saints head coach Sean Payton. The other teams reportedly interested are the New York Giants, Miami Dolphins, and San Francisco 49ers.
There was a report yesterday that Payton’s status in New Orleans is now in “limbo” after his meeting with general manager Mickey Loomis.
It has been reported by NFL Insider Ian Rappoport that the price for Payton is a second round pick.
From what I am told, the potential price placed by the #Saints on Sean Payton is a 2nd rounder… That's what it'll take to pry him.
