Lee Masterful Against Former Team
Cliff Lee was back on track against the Texas Rangers, striking out 10 through 8 innings, leading the Phils to a 2-0 win.
Ryan Madson pitched the 9th for the save and Ryan Howard homered for the Phils.
It was the Phillies 28th win of the season, most in the majors.
Ben Francisco and Raul Ibanez both homered (that’s not a typo) to power the Phillies to a 3-2 win over the Texas Rangers behind another strong outing by Roy Halladay who picked up his sixth win of the season.
