Here are the top ten reasons Tony LaRussa is the most overrated/annoying manager in baseball history:

10.  Managed juice heads Jose Canseco, Mark McGwire and others, in their primes.
9.  Likes to bat the pitcher 8th because he, Tony LaRussa, is smarter than all managers that have come before him.
8.  Managed his teams to the 2nd most losses of all time.
7.  Thinks he, not Abner Doubleday, invented baseball.
6.  Hired Roid-head Mark McGwire as his batting coach!
5.  Managed the heavily favored 1988 Oakland As to a 4-games-to-1 World Series defeat by the vastly inferior LA Dodgers.
4.  Managed the heavily favored 1991 Oakland As to be swept in World Series by vastly inferior Cincinnati Reds.
3.  Micro-manages every game.
2.  Is more miserable looking than your mother-in-law.
1.  And thankfully for the Phillies… Is too stupid to start Jaime Garcia in Game 1 vs. Phillies ( only 1 earned run in 15 innings vs. Phillies this year)
