Brown’s struggles at the plate are easier than it really seems. Now I am no professional hitting instructor by any means, but the problem is clear as day. The problem is Greg Gross in the kid’s ear. Brown has been a consistent hitter for power and average in the minors, yet he’s struggled under Gross’ tutilage. His stance is changing by the at bat. Let him hit how he knows. Now the difference between major league and minor league pitching can be huge, but Brown will never have the confidence to play like he can if you are always telling him to change something.
