The Sixers and Rockets reportedly have a deal in place for Jeremy Lin

Over the course of the last two weeks, there has been a lot of talk surrounding Jeremy Lin and potential trade that would send him to Philadelphia. With the league waiting on the decision of LeBron James, mostly all transactions are on hold right now. The reason being is his decision will have a ripple effect throughout the league, causing other moves to take place accordingly.

One of those moves is all but likely Chris Bosh. Reports have surfaced over the last week that if LeBron James signs anywhere besides Miami, Chris Bosh will leave the Heat and sign a deal with the Houston Rockets. However, like we have reported on Talk Sports Philly the only way that signing can happen is if the Rockets clear cap space to make room for Bosh, which would likely include moving Jeremy Lin.

It now seems that the Rockets will be moving Jeremy Lin if Chris Bosh wants to sign with the Rockets. Liberty Ballers Jake Pavorsky, reported that the Sixers and Rockets have a deal in place that would send Jeremy Lin to Philadelphia. According to the report the Sixers would also take back a future first round pick in the deal, and possibly more. Lin, is due $14.89 million in 2014-15, yet holds a cap hit of just over $8.37 million. In 71 games with the Rockets last year, Lin averaged 12.5 points per game.

Of course like it has been said above, the trade coincides with what ends up happening with both LeBron James and Chris Bosh. Until LeBron James makes his decision it is highly unlikely that Bosh will either.

This is will turn out to be a fantastic move by Sixers General Manager, Sam Hinkie, if this trade does happen. Something Sixers fans should be thrilled about for sure.
